2010-2011 PI Project Proposal Presentations (P⁴)

The Basics:

- 7 continuity clinic groups. 5 min presentation per group + 2 min questions è 50 min total

- Presentations will start a 0800, after BRIEF morning report (announcements, census review).

- Email Jenn on Monday, November 29^th if you will be presenting for your group and indicate whether you will be at WRAMC or NNMC.

- Email your presentations to Jenn by 1600 on Thursday, December 2^nd, otherwise, they will not be able to be viewed by both WRAMC and NNMC audiences.

Tips for Presentation:

* Each presentation should have a “Title Slide” with the proposed TITLE of your study and a list of ALL MEMBERS of your continuity-clinic group.

A) FOCUS-PDCA Format:

· Structure your proposal using the “early stages” in this acronym (i.e. Find a process, Organize your team, Clarify the process, Understand the causes of variation, Select the potential process improvement, Plan the improvement/data collection).

B) Research Article Format:

· Structure your proposal using the “early headings” in a standard research-article (i.e. Background, Objectives, Methods/Design—participants, tools, planned analysis, etc.).
