Welcome to the home of the National Capital Consortium Pediatric Residency! The Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD have offered pediatric residency training since 1949 and as a combined program since 1995. Both institutions have a distinguished track record of training pediatricians who have become leaders in military medicine, academic medicine, the civilian community and in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
