Great work to Dr. Noelle Molter and Dr. McKenzie Bowling for the first CPC and Journal Club of the year, both were excellent and really set the tone for a great academic year.


Congratulations to Dr. Noelle Molter, who was elected Executive Coordinator of Liaisons of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Pediatric Trainees (SOPT)! Great accomplishment!

Pediatric Obesity Curriculum

  • Healthy Habits Pediatric Obesity Curriculum and Toolkit - New Educational Curriculum to Improve Provider's Confidence and Knowledge in the Care of Childhood Obesity. This is a great resource that is being rolled out, and will be a longitudinal study throughout this academic year.

  • Google Classroom has been launched! Please complete prior to 30AUG Academic Half Day


Resident-Specific Updates

Resident Room Rearrangement:

  • We have recently had furniture movers come and help move cubicles in the resident room.

  • If anyone has suggestions on rearrangement or an extra tv we can place in the room, please do not hesitate to reach out!


Blue Team PCMH Clinic Admin

  • Ms. Bates and Ms. Stocks will be acting as Clinic Administrators for the Blue Team for the foreseeable future

  • Please reach out to your new admin team, the clinic 3rd year, and the Chief Resident with any questions/concerns about your schedule.

  • Of note, Ms. Stocks is off on Fridays, and Ms. Bates will handle all scheduling and patient administrative duties on that day.

Clerkship Round Robin (recurring throughout the year)

  • Designed to mimic a clinic half day, each faculty member will be in an MDL room with your particular case. The students have 30 minutes with you to go through the case/skills. The students will move. You stay put and will deliver the same content 5 times to groups of 9-10 students.

There are two upcoming information sessions for those considering applying to or continuing their path in HPE. The calls include a short presentation on the HPE certificate and degree options, the mission of the program, the admissions process, and then time for Q&A. There are opportunities for a Certificate of Completion or even a Master's Degree if interested.
