Plan of the Week: August 6th - August 12th

Updated: Aug 9, 2023

Plays of the Week:

Shout out to Dr. Brandon Neal who spent last Saturday with Military Mentors at The MMoment. Be sure to ask him about how to prepare as a mentee, key elements to build a mindset of success, the challenges of inter-generational mentorship, and SMA Grinston’s reason why the Army won’t allow soldiers to grow beards. Intern year is so busy, I applaud Dr. Neal for jumping on this opportunity.

Additional play of the week to Dr. Andrew Warren, who did great work seeing 7 siblings during his continuity clinic. Andrew did an excellent job managing his time, including seeing multiple adolescents. Lets see if anyone can beat 7 this year!

A huge congratulations to our awesome ID and Ward Attending, Dr. Alison Helfrich and her husband Zach, on the birth of their daughter, Josephine Ruth Bruhn on Sat July 22. Welcome to the Walter Reed family!
