Plays of the Week:
Play of the week goes to Dr. Anthony Lucido, who received high remarks from a patient's family this past week. He handled the visit "professionally, compassionately, and expertly". Strong work!
Play of the week also goes to Maj Caitlin Drumm for her win as our Squadron’s Field Grade Officer of the Quarter!
Play of the week also goes to CAPT Elizabeth Ferrara and her return from the USNS Comfort. Welcome back!

All Staff Updates
ABA Authorizations & Renewals
All Pediatric providers can now access the Sharedrive folder “000 ABA Reauthorization Step by Step for PCMs.” which contains tools and a step-by-step guide for completing ABA authorizations
When first reviewing contents of the folder are helpful to review in order when sorted A-Z. Any feedback is appreciated.
Please reach out to the DBP clinic for any assistance with tricky situations
NCCPeds Merchandise
New NCCPeds Merchandise has arrived!
Please stop by the Chief Resident office in the America Bldg, 4th Floor, Rm 4560 (within the Gen Peds Clinic) to grab your new merch.
Updated PSU Patient Request Form
The email transition to @health.mil broke the PSU request form’s embedded “Email Form” box in the top LEFT corner. The form is now fixed and attached below.
How do you know you have the new form? The “Email Form” box in the upper LEFT corner is now purple, and not red.
Couple caveats for maximum functionality with this form:
Open and complete with Adobe Acrobat (not Edge)
Also have Outlook email already open
Once form is complete, click the PURPLE “Email Form” box in the top LEFT corner. Form will attach to a new email addressed to the PSU organizational mailbox.
Send it to the listserv at the top of the form!
We have placed the updated PSU Request Form in the PEDIATRICS share drive within the folder “PSU SEDATION REQUEST FORM.”

Research Opportunities & Upcoming Conferences
SOCR Meeting
Next meeting will be 17 January. Please email Dr. Zanetti and Dr. Kolasinski if you would like to sign up for one of the following time slots (0700, 0715, 0730, 1200, 1215, 1230, and 1245).
There is only one other session this year (April)
This is a good opportunity for senior residents to update your projects, and also for interns to meet with the team about existing or future projects in order to start second year with your second ARM day.
Residents who opt to meet with the SOCR are expected to submit their project proposal at least one week before the quarterly meeting. Those receiving extra ARM time should update the SOCR at least semiannually either via meeting or via email to Dr. Zanetti and Dr. K. The project proposal template is attached.
You can find required documents on the Research/SOCR page linked above.
