Play of the Week:
Play of the Week this week goes to Keenan Caswell for intubating a critically ill neonate in the NICU on a cross-cover shift. Also, to Dr. Carlin who held down the fort on both the NICU and the MICC this week as attending for both services which included a few higher acuity babies. She did this all without a fellow and covered so that our residents could attend the Intern Welcome BBQ. Thank you, Dr. Carlin!
Additionally, thank you to Dr. Zanetti, Ms. Edwards, and the Social Committee for putting together the awesome Intern Welcome BBQ! Shout out to the winners of the Faculty of the Year, Fellow of the Year, and Ramona Sanchez-Brady Screener of the Year awards - Dr. Stark, Dr. Graziose, HN Morales, and Ms. Kim! Also, huge shout out to Dr. Zanetti and Dr. Stagliano for manning the charcoal grill and braving the heat and smoke on that warm sunny day!
The final Play of the Week goes to Nicole Martin! She has worked tirelessly on behalf of the residents, faculty, and staff to make this past year one of the best that NCC has ever seen. Thank you Nicole for everything! We love you and will miss you! Eglin doesn't know what's coming!!
