Plan of the Week: March 10th - March 16th

Plays of the Week:

Play of the week goes to Dr. JP Schacht, who help respond to a patient in cardiac arrest while he was working out at the gym. Dr. Schacht worked with another physician to implement CPR and helped save this person's life.

Play of the week to Dr. Anthony Lucido, who helped to urgently transfer a cardiac patient from Walter Reed to CNMC for escalation of care. This was a very sick patient who needed possible ECMO, and Anthony was instrumental in getting them where they needed to be.

Additional play of the week to Dr. Robert Crutcher and Dr. Brian Fissel, who both spoke on a Transitional Year Operational Medicine/Deployment Panel, along with COL Brennan and LTC Friedman, plus some other Navy IM/Anesthesia folks. It was great having some peds representation and they shared some entertaining stories about their operational and deployment experiences.

Congratulations to one of our incoming Interns, Marian-Joy Baluyot, for the birth of her son, Simon Baluyot Spirnak! Welcome to the NCC Peds family!
