Beyfortus Documentation Steps

  1. Provide family with RSV information form (in clinic room)

  2. Complete consent form (bright colored paper in clinic room)

  3. Include “Encounter for Prophylactic Immunotherapy for Respiratory Syncytial Virus” as a problem in problem list

  4. Use #pids_nirsevimab_hpi and #pids_nirsevimab_ap to complete your note. These are saved in Renuka Rees’s Autotext. Please ensure that you are documenting in the AP section that you consented the family and the consent form will be uploaded into the patient chart. Please edit the AP section to indicate if the family is getting it in clinic or in the immunization clinic.

  5. Include “Respiratory Syncytial Virus, Monoclonal Antibody, Recombinant, For Intramuscular Use, 50mg or 100mg” in your orders if giving the vaccine in clinic

  6. Drop off consent form in Room 4544 (room across from the treatment room in the Red hallway)

Clerkship Round Robin (recurring throughout the year)

  • Designed to mimic a clinic half day, each faculty member will be in an MDL room with your particular case. The students have 30 minutes with you to go through the case/skills. The students will move. You stay put and will deliver the same content 5 times to groups of 9-10 students.

ICR Module Small Group Teaching Opportunities at USU

There are two upcoming information sessions for those considering applying to or continuing their path in HPE. The calls include a short presentation on the HPE certificate and degree options, the mission of the program, the admissions process, and then time for Q&A. There are opportunities for a Certificate of Completion or even a Master's Degree if interested.

We are looking for:

  1. Opinion Pieces: Share insights on current trends, news, or thought-provoking ideas

  2. Community Spotlights: Highlight achievements, projects, or initiatives

  3. Updates: Offer insights on how your clinic, hospital, or program is doing

  4. Artwork: photography, drawings, paintings, photos of woodworking and/or sculptures etc...

  5. Fur babies: Share a photo of the fur-babies at home that bring you joy

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Length: Aim for 500-1200 words, flexible

  2. Include images, charts, graphs
