  • Our Peds Otolaryngologist, Dr. Jonathan Perkins, is now credentialed and will start seeing patients here at Walter Reed in the next couple weeks.

  • Designed to mimic a clinic half day, each faculty member will be in an MDL room with your particular case. The students have 30 minutes with you to go through the case/skills. The students will move. You stay put and will deliver the same content 5 times to groups of 9-10 students.

There are two upcoming information sessions for those considering applying to or continuing their path in HPE. The calls include a short presentation on the HPE certificate and degree options, the mission of the program, the admissions process, and then time for Q&A. There are opportunities for a Certificate of Completion or even a Master's Degree if interested.

New Century Scholars Resident Mentoring Program

  • The NCScholars Program is a mentorship program aimed at increasing the diversity of the academic pediatric workforce.

  • As part of an ongoing commitment to increasing provider diversity in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP), the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP) has partnered with the Academic Pediatric Association (APA) to sponsor one pediatric resident per year in the New Century (NC) Scholars Resident Mentoring Program.
