Plays of the Week:
Play of the week goes to Dr. Emily Ferraro for the Communication Sim that she hosted for the residents. She sent up an excellent teaching and standardized patient scenario that address Cultural Competency and communication skills. Thank you for your great work on an under discussed topic.
Play of the week to Dr. Amy Davis and the rest of the Social Committee for the fun Holiday Party for NCC Peds. Really exciting to see everyone, and a great event at Rock Bottom. Congratulations to Dr. Hoffner and her daughter, who won the Cookie Decorating Contest for the second year in a row! Great work!
Additional play of the week to Dr. Brian Fissel and Dr. Kevin Westbrook, who took time out of their schedules to teach the basics of NRP to the PA students. Excellent representation of our program to other services.
Congratulations to Dr. Brittany Bumgardner, who has been named NCC Peds newest Associate Program Director! Congratulations and thank you for all you do for the program!
Big win for Army Football this weekend, who took home the Commander-in-Chief Trophy. Another year of the DFAC here at Walter Reed!
