Designed to mimic a clinic half day, each faculty member will be in an MDL room with your particular case. The students have 30 minutes with you to go through the case/skills. The students will move. You stay put and will deliver the same content 5 times to groups of 9-10 students.

Annual NCCPeds Case Report Hackathon-11/20/24
For those new to the Hackathon- the goal is to put together teams to work on a case report poster for the upcoming NCR competition (typically submissions are due at the end of January, 2025). Teams will meet in the evening on 11/20 to get their projects started (and eat pizza).
Residents: If interested, email Dr. Zanetti. If you have a case you'd like to use-let him know!
Faculty/Fellows: Email Dr. Zanetti if you have a case you'd like to work with residents to present. If you don't have a case but would like to serve as a mentor-let Dr. Zanetti know!

CATCH stands for Community Access to Child Health and offers funding for pediatricians and pediatric residents to perform projects addressing healthcare disparities in their communities

Make sure you change your email in order to receive email notifications -> My Profile -> My Current Profile -> down arrow next to name -> Personal Details -> Contact Details

Complete the appropriate information, an example of chargeable leave is below:

For supervisor ID: direct it to your ARMY ADVISOR

For the checklist - When out of training these are items that will result in leave not being approved. I will NOT be rejecting leave, but if there are things overdue we need a plan to get updated. If you have a lot of overdue items and you are doing OCONUS or leave requiring commanders signature this could cause issues, but we’ll address that if it comes up.
Here’s how you should answer Checklist:
1 – in JKO ensure that your annual cyberawareness, Hippa, level 1 antiterrorism training are done
2- Check your IMR and ensure all green https://asimsimr.health.mil/imr/myIMR.aspx if not use comment box to write what is not up to date and plan

Plan to submit a draft of your block 41 in the attached NMRTC Bethesda FITREP template and Brag sheet to your advisor by Monday, 18NOV (Fissel-Lopreiato, Smith-Madison, Bowling and Spirnak-Wido, Neal and Paulson-Ferrara) to allow time to edit before the command due date of 29NOV.

Play of the Week: Goes to Dr. McKenzie Bowling as Housestaff Council Vice President for delivering an impactful brief to 75 Program Directors and GME leaders at the GMEC on the value of video interpretation services. Her survey-based needs assessment and proposal was immediately adopted for action by the NCC Board of Directors. She demonstrated impressive leadership and advocacy and represented our program well!
